Here are our program, we offer customizable tracks for any residents with special interests. These tracks are designed to cater to each resident’s interest and goals including fellowship. Our tracks are longitudinal in nature and have annual requirements for completion.

Basic Requirements for Track Completion
Each track has similar requirements for publication and presentations. The following are just a few examples of basic requirements. Each resident will meet with their track advisor to customize their track requirements to make their track unique to their goals and aspirations.
For example, some residents may include particular elective months or certifications as a requirement for their completion of their track such as an Advanced Wilderness Life Support (AWLS) certification, or attendance at national conference such as Castlefest for ultrasound.
- At least one publication in each of the PGY 3 and PGY 4 years
- Lead two hours of didactics instruction during each PGY 3 and PGY 4 years with track focus.
- Join a national committee such as RSO, EMRA or the ACEP section relating to your track focus.
- Lead a track focused journal club
Track Benefits
As a participant in a track, residents are allotted a shift reduction per month on EM for research purposes. Additionally, residents are allotted additional flexibility with elective time to pursue rotations and interests pertaining to their chosen track. Funding for conference attendance required for track completion is also provided by the residency.
